Initiative Constitutional Amendment
District Map Analysis

• Continuing analysis is being performed on the Fair Vote 2K program and the possible electoral results that might follow from a fair districting.
• The following map shows current Assembly Districts in the Los Angeles Area,
   following the 1990 Census and 1992 court imposed districting plan.

• A sample of what might occur under Fair Vote 2K for the same area was prepared by
  Dr. George Clark, PhD.  His program takes existing districts and optimizes them for compactness and population equality, similar to the method used in the FV2K program.

• Dr. Clark and the Fair Vote 2K Coalition are working on a finalized version of the methodology used in the proposed initiative, including local maps and analysis of voting results that might follow from a fair districting.
