The 1997 Congressional National Political Awareness Test

Project Vote Smart (PVS) is a non-profit, non-partisan
organization which does not lobby for or against any cause. PVS does not support

non-biased, factual information to voters and the media concerning the record of

The NPAT is a non-partisan issue questionnaire designed by political scientists
and national political leaders over the past five years. The NPAT gives you the
opportunity to review the positions and ideas of candidates for federal office
in the United States. The information provided by candidates is accessible to
all voters through the Voter's Research Hotline (1-800-622-SMART) and the
Vote Smart Web on the Internet.

Abortion:

Affirmative Action
The federal government should prosecute cases of discrimination in the public sector.
The federal government should not provide any affirmative action programs.

private sector in a fashion similar to any other defamation of character action.

Campaign Finance Reform:

One of the primary causes is the proposition that government is responsible for everything and will eliminate risk and consequences from every aspect of life. With this statist ideology in place, many people have shrugged off morals and ethics as no longer relevant.
